We spent the morning being overwhelmed by the 40 acres of tulips at the Wooden Shoe Tulip farm.. The colours were spectacular and there were many different types of tulips to be seen.

after lunch in Silverton and since we were in the area we decided to check out the Trail of 10 Falls at Silver Falls State Park. The trail was pretty spectacular with many trees that had tons of moss hanging on them and the volume of water coming over the waterfalls was huge due to the rain we’ve had the last few days. We managed to hike to seven falls. The trail often times was right beside the river where we could look at the continuous rapids.
