We drove down the Cape Arago Highway to Simpson Reef. As soon as we got there we could hear the seals/sea lions. We also saw a couple of raptors. As we drove back to our camp we stopped in at Shore Acres State Park. The oceanfront area here was totally different. You could see how the plates were pushed up during the last Ice Age. We also discovered a botanical garden here with many very different and colourful flowers.

This afternoon we mountain biked at whiskey run. This was a great trail. The single track was a bit wider and the curves and undulations were so fun to ride over with none of those rocks or tree roots to get in my way. The climb back though was tough.

Another walk on the beach at sunset. I am definitely enjoying this time.
