We drove down to Cannon Beach for tide pooling which is best at low tide. We were able to see starfish, small crabs, anemone, krill in the many tide pools surrounding Haystack Rock. There were many people on the beach, quite a change from what we’ve seen further south.

After lunch we did the elk flat to Devils caldron Trail. The viewpoints on this trail were spectacular. Massive granite 100-200 ft standing straight up.
