Our whale watching trip for this morning was cancelled due to inclement weather. We continued on our plan to visit Depoe Bay. Had a nice time browsing the small shops and checking out the smallest harbour in the world.

We drove down the coast looking for gray whales. No luck. Hopefully a better day tomorrow.  Seals, a few loons and pigeons guillemots. Our last stop was the devils punch bowl where waves come crashing in from both sides and create a huge vertical burst.

We decided to hike drift Creek Falls. This is a 5 km hike out to a beautiful waterfall with the 240 foot suspension bridge with a 75’ drop to the River. The adventure though was the drive to the trailhead which was 8 km windy narrow switchback roads with drop offs on both sides at times.
