We headed to a very secluded China Beach. After losing our way a couple of times on the Oregon coast trail, we eventually made it to a steep downhill path, which led to a beach that was completely unhahabited except by us. We hiked most of the beach, saw a few tide pools and lots of sea stacks. With an absolute mountain of driftwood to choose from, we finally found a stick that was small enough to use as a Walking stick for Karen. The hike up was very challenging, as it was a lot steeper going up than we expected.

On the way home we stopped to check out the natural Bridge scenic view point.

For an unexpected dinner treat we went to the Latitude 42 sports bar in Brookings and watched the leafs come back to win game five of the series with Tampa Bay.
