Oregon is home to many covered bridges. Cottage Grove has 7 of them. We pumped up the tires on the mountain bikes and went hunting. We really enjoyed the ride along the lake to the Dorena bridge. Beautiful views and the dedicated path made the ride very enjoyable.

This area is spectacular and it seems there is so much to see......lush today, yet I saw snow in your pics on the 4th......I am envious of your retirement. :)

It has been colder here than we anticipated. Most if the mountains still have snow so we have missed out on some planned hikes. The area is gorgeous though. Heading to the coast tomorrow. Can’t wait!!
