We had a lot of activities planned for today. Our first was a hike of the staircase.  The hike was through a forest with some old growth trees. Big cedar was 14 feet in diameter but had fallen some years ago.  The staircase refers to the number of different steps of rapids in the river.

Our second stop was to Hama Hama Falls. This was a 2 Hour Dr. in and back out. We were able to see the huge amount of water pouring down the hill from the bridge.

Our third stop was to Rocky Brook Falls. This waterfall is very close to our campground and it is spectacular. Huge drop with a ton of water coming over the top.

Fourth stop was the drive up to the top of Mount Walker. Gravel road with tons of narrow twisty turns and of course drop offs. Between the north and Southview points we got a 360 view of the surrounding countryside. Beautiful.
